The work “Conditional Entry” is an interactive installation in which an automated border evaluation is carried out and participants are assessed and evaluated on the basis of non-transparent criteria and either admitted, rejected, or granted a travel permit on probation. The central theme of the work is power and control through data, and it serves to reflect on questions such as “What does my data say about me?” and “Who has power over my data?” After voluntary consent and operation of the machine, a “photo ticket” with an evaluation is printed out.

I am currently studying Art and Multimedia at LMU Munich and experimenting with what happens between code, space, and emotion.
